Le Pavillon

A Consistent Soundscape complements a Vibrant Atmosphere

TAD designed the audio experience for the beautiful Le Pavillon Restaurant at One Vanderbilt in New York. The fine-dining destination features a lively atmosphere with an abundance of natural materials, indoor landscaping, and a 100ft atrium. The soaring space is moderated with plantings and floating ceilings to create an experience that transitions from dramatic open views at the bar to intimate garden dining, and a private divisible dining room with presentation and conferencing capabilities.

For all these spaces TAD designed the audio systems with minimally invasive equipment that is thoughtfully concealed throughout the restaurant. The planter speakers in the garden, invisible ceiling speakers in the dining room, millwork integrated bar speakers, and infrastructure to support large events were sized and specified to perform to the audio expectations of discerning patrons and the discreet architectural vision of Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud and architect Isay Weinfeld.

At the back of house, chef’s office and kitchen include conferencing capabilities to ensure and support the quality expected within the kitchen and beyond.
